SIDOOR ATE250S Platform Screen Door Drive

The SIDOOR ATE250S Platform Screen Door Drive enables the quick, easy and versatile installation, configuration and operation of a wide range of platform screen door drive systems.

Up to two SIDOOR ATE250S platform screen door drives can be operated by connecting an AT‑EB expansion unit upstream via PROFIBUS DP.

Operating temperature -20 to +50 °C (-25 to +70 °C and 10 mins up to 85 °C with reduced drive profile parameters)

Область применения

The SIDOOR ATE250S Platform Screen Door Drive is an intelligent door drive system which enables platform screen doors to be opened and closed directly at adjustable speeds and accelerations.

It is not suitable for stand-alone operation. External commands are only accepted via the serial interface. The SIDOOR ATE250S platform screen door drive is always operated in conjunction with the AT‑EB expansion unit, see "Expansion units".

The maintenance-free drive unit consists of a speed-controlled, electronically commutated motor with non-self-locking gearing. The SIDOOR MEG250 EC geared motor (24 V DC/6.8 A; motor for max. overall door leaf weight of 250 kg) must be ordered separately, see "Geared motors".

Operation of the door drive does not require a limit switch. The door width and the "OPEN"/"CLOSE" positions are determined automatically.

The current operating states can be displayed internally on the terminal module and externally with the aid of the Software Kit or Service Tool, see "Additional Units".

Power transmission is via a toothed belt, which passes over a deflector unit and can be fitted with two door clutch holders. The accessory parts are not included in the scope of supply, see "Accessories".

This enables handling of both one-sided and centrally opening doors.

During initial commissioning, please note the following:

Electrical configuration and commissioning:
- Push the door into the "CLOSED" position
- Open the device cover
- Plug in the motor connector
- Connect the mains transformer to the 230 V AC mains supply
- Press and hold down the learn run button (on the terminal module)
- Connect the mains transformer output to the input of the SIDOOR ATE250S Platform Screen Door Drive
- The learn run starts automatically and the learn run button can be released as soon as the door starts to move
- On completion of the learn run, the door is in the "CLOSED" position and the terminal module indicates "u"
- The door can now be moved via the "OPEN" and "CLOSE" buttons (on the terminal module) with the default profile

The Software Kit is available as an additional unit (see "Additional units") and allows quick and easy updating of the firmware using the Siemens HCS12 Firmware Loader.

The SIDOOR User Software (part of the Software Kit) provides user-friendly parameter setting and the oscilloscope function.
