Версия с гнездом RJ45 для подключения к 10/100/1000 Мбит/с сети с питанием через Ethernet по стандарту IEEE 802.3at тип 1 (соответствует стандарту IEEE 802.3af).
Версия с двумя слотами для установки съемных приемопередатчиков SFP (оптический 2-канальный коммутатор).
Один ввод для подключения цепи питания =24 В. Опциональное использование встроенного блока питания =12 ... 24 В или ~100 ... 240 В.

Функции

В сдвоенных точках доступа присутствует два независимых интерфейса для установки беспроводных соединений. Один из этих интерфейсов предназначен для обмена данными с другими точками доступа. Соединения с мобильными станциями устанавливаются через второй интерфейс.

При больших расстояниях между точкой доступа и проводной сетью могут использоваться точки доступа SCALANCE W-786 со съемными приемопередатчиками SFP. В зависимости от используемой версии оптического приемопередатчика SFP расстояние от точки доступа до проводной сети может достигать 120 км.

Использование продуктов SCALANCE W786 в жестких климатических условиях

Точка доступа SCALANCE W786 может настраиваться на режим Ethernet клиента через Web интерфейс управления. В зависимости от выбранного варианта максимум один беспроводный модуль будет доступен в качестве клиента.
