Функции

Приборы должны устанавливаться в местах с наиболее благоприятными условиями для установки радиосвязи. Корпус и соединители обладают высокой стойкостью к ударным и вибрационным воздействиям. Все соединители оснащены винтовой резьбой или фиксаторами. Для получения оптимальных условий радиосвязи включенные в комплект поставки антенны могут быть заменены на антенны других типов.

Точка доступа SCALANCE W788 M12 может работать в режиме Ethernet клиента. Альтернативно для этой цели могут использоваться модули Ethernet клиентов SCALANCE W748 M12.

Приборы с двумя интерфейсами оснащены двумя независимыми радио картами и аналогичны по своим функциональным возможностям двум независимым приборам радиосети. Это свойство позволяет получать рентабельные решения для автоматизации протяженных объектов с беспроводным обменом данными между их компонентами. При этом локальные станции могут свободно передвигаться в зоне радио охвата точек доступа. Дополнительно две независимые радио карты позволяют устанавливать резервированные беспроводные соединения.

Роуминг мобильных блоков (например, программатора Field PG и мобильных контроллеров) в радиосети с двумя точками доступа

Станции (например, программатор) могут свободно передвигаться в зоне радо охвата точек доступа SCALANCE W788-1 M12, поддерживая беспроводную связь с другими станциями. С помощью модулей Ethernet клиентов SCALANCE W748-1 M12 к беспроводной сети могут подключаться мобильные блоки с аппаратурой человеко-машинного интерфейса, контроллерами и компьютерами.

Задержка переключения с одной точки доступа на другую в процессе роуминга мобильных станций в соответствии с IEEE 802.11не превышает 100 мс, поэтому связь не прерывается.

Сдвоенная точка доступа SCALANCE W788-2 M12 обеспечивает поддержку двух независимых радиолиний. К одной линии может быть подключен, например, программатор, используемый для решения задач конфигурирования. Необходимый для работы приложения обмен данными, например, S7 обмен данными между контроллерами может поддерживаться через вторую линию.
