    SIDOOR ATD430W machine tool door drive

    The SIDOOR ATD430W machine tool door drive can be used to operate horizontal sliding doors. The drive system has been specially designed for use in a very wide range of machine tools. The communication-capable ATD430W controller offers complete flexibility for integration into a machine tool via PROFINET.

    • For dynamic door weights up to 600 kg
    • Integrate PROFINET interface (2 RJ45 ports)
    • 5 freely parameterizable digital inputs for signal acquisition, of which one input can be optionally parameterizable for:
      • Connecting a light barrier as type 2 ESPE (electro-sensitive protective equipment) according to EN 61496-1
      • Connecting a pressure-sensitive edge according to ISO 13856-22, relay contacts for additional position signals
    • 2 relay contacts for additional position signals
    • Automatic determination of the door weight and friction during the learn run
    • Parameter assignment and analysis of the door parameters via PROFIdrive
    • Operating temperature -20 to +50 °C
    • Flexible motor management, i.e. automatic recognition of the geared motor
    • Assisted drive (motor-assisted door movement)
    • Impulse stop (door stopped automatically by applying light force)
    • Impulse drive (automatic door movement after applying light force)
    • Opening width 0.3 to 5 m
    • Auxiliary power output 24 V DC ±15 % and 0.4 A (short-circuit-proof)
    • Output stage for the motor control is short-circuit proof
    • Indicates the current operating states on a 7-segment display directly on the controller or using the Software Kit or Service Tool

    The SIDOOR ATD430W machine tool door drive is an intelligent door control system that enables protective doors on machine tools to be opened and closed at adjustable speeds and accelerations.

    The maintenance-free drive unit consists of a speed-controlled DC motor with non-self-locking gearing.

    The door width and the "OPEN"/"CLOSE" positions are determined automatically.

    The current operating states are shown on a 7-segment display directly in the SIDOOR ATD430W machine tool door drive. They can also be displayed externally using the Software Kit or Service Tool, see "Additional units".

    During initial commissioning, please note the following:

    • Mechanical mounting and setting, see System Manual "SIDOOR AT40, ATD400V, ATD400K, ATD4xxW, ATD400S, ATE250S, ATD400T", http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/58531074
    • Electrical configuration and commissioning:
      • Push the door into the "CLOSED" position
      • Open the device cover
      • Plug in the motor plug
      • Connect NT40 switch mode power supply to 230 V AC mains supply
      • Press and hold the learn run button
      • Connect the NT40 switch mode power supply output to the input of the SIDOOR ATD420W machine tool door drive
      • The learn run starts automatically and the learn run button can be released.
      • On completion of the learn run, the door is in the "CLOSED" position and the 7-segment display indicates "u".
      • The door can now be moved via the "OPEN" and "CLOSE" buttons with the default profile.

    Програмирование

    The Software Kit is available as an additional unit (see "Additional units") and allows quick and easy updating of the firmware using the Siemens HCS12 Firmware Loader.

    User-friendly parameter setting and oscilloscope function is carried out via the SIDOOR User Software (part of the Software Kit).

    With the SIDOOR ATD430W, communication with the higher-level controller takes place via PROFINET. The GSD file required for this purpose can be downloaded from the Industry Online Support:
