  The Siemens Network Planner SINEPLAN

  • supports planners of automation systems based on PROFINET and
  • facilitates the professional and proactive simulation of a plant / system network.

  Область применения

  SINETPLAN supports planners of automation systems and networks based on PROFINET. The tool facilitates the professional and proactive dimensioning of the PROFINET installation already during the planning phase. It allows the optimization of the network, the best utilization of network resources as well as the planning of reserves.

  Функции

  The Siemens Network Planner SINETPLAN supports the planning and layout of PROFINET networks, especially if so-called Non-Real-Time Communication (NRT) such as TCP/IP data is used in addition to RT or IRT communication.

  SINETPLAN tool calculates and simulates the network load in a PROFINET network and shows critical points where the network load is too high. In addition, it simulates the real-time data (real-time communication) as well as the non-real-time communication caused e.g. by standard Ethernet nodes.

  • Tool-supported network layout and simulation right at the planning phase
  • Transparency about the network load for RT/IRT data and NRT-Traffic (e.g. TCP/IP)
  • Report function including results obtained during simulation and validation
  • Multi-vendor and cross-project simulation
  • Analysis of Pcap files to determine the traffic generated by NRT network nodes
