    The MVN11 media converter node is a robust network component for SIPLUS CMS4000.

    Advantages:

    • Bidirectional conversion between an electrical and an optical IEEE1394
    • To extend the range up to max. 500 m
    • Can also be used in conjunction with the RPN IEEE1394B repeater node

    Область применения

    The MCN11 media converter node is a rugged media converter to increase the range of the IEEE1394 bus. The MCN11 converts the electrically transferred data bidirectionally into signals for the optical transmission with which distances up to 500 m can be covered.

    Дизайн

    The MCN11 media converter node has an electrical IEEE1394a interface and an optical IEEE1394b interface.

    Two MCN11 nodes are inserted into the path in order to extend the bus distance. The optical bus cable used for the extension runs between the two nodes.

    Alternatively, the MCN11 can be directly connected optically to an RPN IEEE1394B T001/T002 multi-port repeater.

    The cable 6AT8000‑2AB20‑2AA2 and the mounting set 6AT8000‑2BB00‑0XC0 are available as optional accessories, see "Accessories" → "Cables and mounting parts".
